Reductions in Teaching Obligations

Although there is a fundamental interest in maintaining teaching obligations in full, temporary reductions in teaching loads may be granted in exceptional cases. When submitting an application, reference will be made to one of the four reasons for justification set out in the Teaching Obligations Regulation, depending on the individual case. This will result in different procedures, which are explained in more detail in the Guidelines for Reductions in Teaching Obligations. The guidelines also specify the mandatory content of an application.
